Brief info
Hello! My name is Madelyn and I am the owner and one of the trainers here at Flat Collar. I am originally from Canada and at 18 I joined the US Army where I started at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. but then PCS’d to Germany where I founded Flat Collar.
I have been working with dogs since I was 11 years old in a variety of venues. I have trained and produced Service, Therapy and Sporting dogs over the last couple of years but my niche falls under Behavior Modifications. I was the lead trainer for a Police K9 Training program in Arkansas for 7 months from the end of 2021 leading into 2022. I personally compete in dog sports with my own dogs to include conformation, FastCAT, PSA, and narcotics detection. Working with dogs is my passion and each dog adds to my tool belt of knowledge.
