I have been a client of Madelyns for 3 years. I started working with her back in Germany when my wife and I adopted a Greek street dog. She was a terror to say the least. We had tried a couple of other German training facilities but nothing worked until we found Madelyn. Our dog Nova was reactive to anything that moved, breathed, or cycled. It was madness just walking her down the street. Madelyn helped us gain the knowledge and gave us the tools we needed to make Nova’s and our lives just a little bit easier. Nova needed some fine tuning after not working with Madelyn as often. With my wife moving to Colorado we decided to make the drive out to Missouri to do a 4 week board and train. In those 4 weeks Madelyn helped with Nova’s reactivity towards kids, cats, and other dogs. We are now able to take Nova into pet stores with little to no reactivity (this was never possible before). We are so grateful to Madelyn and Will who made it possible for us to have a well mannered dog. We absolutely recommend Flat Collar K9!

We had our pup In a 2 week program and there is a night and day difference with her obedience! She is leash trained had basic commands and most importantly they work ! We are extremely pleased !10/10

Madelyn is FANTASTIC. I sent my dog, Walker, to Flat Collar for a 6 week boarding and train and I’m so glad I did. He knew some basics so they focused a lot on impulse control, recall, off leash and into to e-collar and it’s been so helpful. There was a 2 week adjustment period, which is normal, but whenever I get frustrated.. Madelyn’s just a text away to explain things or what I’m doing wrong in that situation or what would help. She gave me the tools and now it’s just up to me to keep building on. I take him to work with me ALLLLLL the time and everyone is obsessed with how well he behaves and listens. He was dog reactive before and while he still is, with all the tools and tips that Madelynn has given, he’s substantially better and I now know how to deal with him when he’s reacting. She’s fantastic.
